I graduated from Brigham Young University with a B.S. from the School of Nursing.  I worked as a Registered Nurse for 3 years.  Before being appointed to the Lyon County School Board of Trustees I worked as a Substitute Teacher for 4 years. I have 4 children that have gone/are going through the Lyon County School System. For many years I have been actively involved on the Booster Board (parent volunteer organization) at my children's' schools.  In my free time I enjoy hiking, biking, painting, and reading.

My name is Kimber L.A. Crabtree, my family has lived in this county for many generations; therefore, I have a great love and passion for Lyon County.  Being, that I am the mother of five sons and a taxpayer of Lyon County, I understand the need for both excellence in education and efficiency in spending.  I promise to take the duties of this office very seriously.  I believe that every child in Lyon County is an individual with unique circumstances and different learning capabilities.  I believe Lyon County School District serves the children and families of our county so that each child can grow and learn to succeed, enabling them to live out their American dream.  I want to thank each, and every one of you, for affording me the opportunity to serve, and I look forward to listening to your comments and concerns.
