Lyon County School District is proud to celebrate the incredible accomplishments of 50 high school students across the district who are expected to graduate this spring with both their high school diploma and an Associate’s Degree from Western Nevada College (WNC).
Through a strong and growing partnership between WNC and LCSD, juniors and seniors have the opportunity to enroll in dual credit courses that count toward both their high school and college graduation requirements. For motivated students who can manage the rigorous academic load, this pathway opens doors to significant college and career advantages—even before they leave high school.
Over the past five years, more than 200 LCSD students have earned Associate’s Degrees alongside their high school diplomas. This year’s anticipated group of 50 graduates marks a continued commitment to academic excellence and expanded opportunity for our students.
On behalf of the Lyon County School District, we are so proud of these remarkable students and the dedication, perseverance, and hard work they’ve demonstrated throughout their journey. We also want to thank our educators, counselors, and families who have supported them every step of the way.
Congratulations to the Class of 2025 dual graduates—you’ve made us all incredibly proud! 🎓🎉
